World Without Temple – Kevin Sprouls

Last year, my Alma Mater, Temple University, did a video profile of me for a series promoting the school. (I received a BFA from Tyler School of Art, a branch of Temple U.) Click on image below to watch:

The crew took some nice photography of me in my studio…

Here are some out-takes of the still photography the Temple team took… Ryan Brandenberg was behind the camera:

Recently, they’ve begun an ad campaign to run in public spaces. Heres the clip that features me:

My years at Tyler were crucial to my professional development and career. To return the favor, I created a large illustration for Kim Strommen who was the long-serving Dean of Temple Abroad in Rome. I attended this school for one greatly-inspiring semester in my senior year. Full disclosure, I have posted this illustration on the blog before, but I like looking at it, and thought you might, too:

Kim made a big fuss over the drawing, and I had to oversee the printing of it and sign 100 prints for a limited edition. That whole signing process was tedious!

The original art was framed and shipped off to Temple’s school in Rome, where it hangs today.
