Here’s a collection of impressions to commemorate Christmas, 2019…
My family and I recently made a big move. We transitioned from two houses: one in New Bern, NC, and, and one at the Jersey Shore. We took up residence in western North Carolina in a town called Tryon. We are still transitioning, and settling well into this home, built in 1915, by the artist Jean Stansbury Holden. digitalcollections.nypl.org/items/af1a5c90-55d7-0135-fbc5-2b4492e0c0a7
Here are we at Thanksgiving. The Carolina Foothills are treating us well. Our new neighbors are friendly to a fault!
My wife, Rosemarie, and I at nearby Pearson’s Falls. The foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains are captivatingly Beautiful. …But, I digress!
Santa’s on his way, on his sleigh, bringing lots of goodies to all the little girls and boys (grown-ups, too!).
This is an illustration I did for the Home Insurance company several years ago. It captures an ‘old-time’ Christmas feeling in a long-ago office space!
A Holiday card design which I enjoyed drawing, using lots of templates and fine penmanship! Also, around this time, I drafted a black and white version of a work by one of my artist-heroes, Albrecht Durer… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albrecht_Dürer
I illustrated this image for a Christmas card, with the terse message’ “You Better Not Pout, You Better Not Cry”, etc.
Leaving you with one of few paintings I have produced, I Wish You All a Happy Holiday!
Lovely and merry Christmas.
PS: The new bio on Janis Joplin is quite good.
Thanks Tom! I’ll be looking out for that film…
Merry Christmas Kevin… for you and your family…!!!
Thank You, Carlos, from across the hemisphere! Have a Beautiful Christmas.
Breathtaking
Thanks, Old Pal! I prize our friendship, even though we’re apart. Happy Hannukah, and have a Wonderful New Year! I was most pleased at the marriage of Brett Ian this year. He’s a great kid!
