Last Summer, I was asked by Ami Arad, the Founder & CEO of Wingtip, a posh San Francisco club, to create a series of portraits. These illustrations were to portray several major actors, be framed, and installed on a wall within the club. How could I say “no”?

The sixth source photo I received was this…streep photoThe conceit of this project lies in the picture-titles. Rather than identifying the actors, the nameplates within the frames refer to the characters they inhabit. The finished portrait depicts Meryl Streep, from The Devil Wears Prada, playing the character "Miranda Priestly"…meryl~72Ami posted a picture of the installation so far…wingtip-wallThis post is the sixth of seven, presenting the portraits I have completed thus far.
