The Hedcut goes to Lives of Real Estate

Screenshot 2014-02-10 08.31.49A while back, I had a steady gig at a magazine called Lore. It stands for Lives of Real Estate. I was illustrating a steadily running feature for a year or two, on the last page of each issue of the publication. Essentially, the editors would supply me with a portrait subject, and supplemental photography having to do with the interests or career of the person. I assume the folks at Lore were acquainted with the hedcut style of portrait that I developed for The Wall Street Journal, and wanted a similar dash of distinction.
