Wine Label Illustration by Kevin Sprouls

 A couple of years ago, I was contacted by a winemaker in Argentina who wanted an update for a wine label illustration for their Gran Enemigo 2008 offering from Mendoza. I received the design, above, to develop the image. They merely wanted the existing art translated into a Kevin Sprouls Illustration.Well, I thought, this is right up my alley. Then, I went to work. This is the finished art... I'm pretty sure the figure on right is a griffin, but the image on left? Anyone?
