They wanted the Commander-in Chief in a close-up image, with a look of concern in his expression. A client needed the president’s portrait for some tee-shirts he was producing. Apparently, a number of these tops were in attendance at the first inaugural event in Washington. I was glad to be part of it!This was the image on the shirts…President Obama Stippled Presidential ArtOn a not-so-happy note, I was hired by the New York Daily News to create an election-eve illustration of the Kerry/Edwards ticket.
