A Few Illustrations for Rodale Press

The Art Director Chris Gangi and I go way back. He first assigned illustration work to me back in the Nineties when he was at Garden Design magazine. More recently, Chris was A/D at Rodale Press. I created these spot illustrations for him last year for Organic Life magazine. The subject was Sage Smudging, the practice of purifying one’s domicile by burning this herb and wafting the smoke throughout one’s rooms. It was exotic enough to peak my interest!
