Illustrations for Wall Street feel apropos just now, don't you think?The bears and bulls are active and battling it out. The stock market has been very jumpy lately. I’m not a betting man, so I have very little exposure to the fluctuations of the market. But, I have many clients who are directly involved in the fortunes of Wall Street.What follows is a series of illustrations of the metaphorical symbols of the market…namely, the Bull and the Bear. 
This illustration was produced for a fundraising gala for the environmental advocacy group, Natural Resources Defense Council. The image was printed on menus that graced each table. It was amusing to enter the ballroom and view the sea of bears on those dozens of tables!
I created this bull for a children’s textbook.

Currently, I’m making illustrations for a long-running PNC Bank print campaign. I made this image of the sculpture on Wall Street in New York:
It conveys a good representation of the term “Bullish”. Ah, the Good Times!Lastly, I will leave you with a trophy of sorts. Here is a gift I received from a client for whom I did a lot of WSJ hedcut portraits.
These elegant small-scale sculptures are usually parked on the window sill in front of my desk here at the studio. Where I can keep my eye on them!
