Illustrations for Memorial Day

It was created for Reader's Digest, and shows a portion of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C. The tricky part was to render the lettering faithfully while capturing the reflection of the mirror-like wall. Quite a task!Also drawn for Reader's Digest, this is a drawing of the Medal of Honor. Note the anchor in the middle of this piece.One more for Reader's Digest I did a lot of work for them while working my day job at The Journal. This is an illustration of an actual farm. Quite a lot of patriotic dedication went into creating this landscape!If you're like me, the weekend is best observed at your favorite beach.
