Here we are in the peak of Summer, a good time to sample some Illustrations of Bikers and Rebels! Let’s begin with a cool one…

I did this design for a company in New Jersey called KidRad. I think it was a tee-shirt illustration— never got a shirt! One of the original rebel-types was an Irishwoman named Grace O’Malley, the Pirate Queen…

The portrait above was commissioned, among others, by a Yacht Club in Ireland. The member here is posing as the notorious Rake of the Sea. Some other well-known cast of characters include:

I did this image of Dwight D. Eisenhower in a Mohawk for a book jacket, P.J. O’Rourke’s “Republican Party Reptile”. Someone recently contacted me for permission to use this image as a tattoo! That, I thought, was uncommonly civil of him…
