An elegant drawing of a stern man! Moving onto different topics, here are three illustrations that display the variety that could be found in The Journal:
I mentioned how the WSJ kept breast of the technology of its today. Above is a technical drawing of the Space Shuttle, I assume previous to the infamous Challenger disaster. The background texture was made with an adhesive graphic film. Next, a conceptual illustration that appeared in full-column format:
The article was dubbed “Hospitality”, the image suggest a practice of sweetening the circumstance leading to the consummation of deal.
