Early WSJ Illustration by Kevin Sprouls
This post concerns the very first, early illustration work I created for the Wall Street Journal, back in the days of the Carter Administration. I was young and eager, looking for a paying job doing what I love -- drawing pictures.

Musicians Illustrated
Because I've always been a music lover, I'm attracted to drawing the personalities that rise to prominence... thus, Musicians Illustrated. When I pushed the pens at The Wall Street Journal as head illustrator, there was a trio called the Thompson Twins.

An Illustrated Christmas
It's that time again, so I'm presenting an Illustrated Christmas. These are a collection of personal and professional projects created for celebrating the Holiday. The first was used in a Christmas card I sent out in the 1980's. The drawing is a copy of a portrait engraving by Albrecht Durer.
