I’ve worked on many book projects over the years. A couple of days ago, I received a package from Australia. It was a copy of a new literary work, with my artwork prominently displayed. The publisher, Black Inc., bought usage rights to one of my illustrations, and made it look terrific:

A curious company called Despair Inc. publishes a lot of tongue-in-cheek material, putting a spin on those motivational posters you see in the workplace occasionally.
