A few years back, I worked on some images for Condé Nast Traveler magazine. It was a combination of a portrait and a few spots. I like doing magazine work, as it puts my work out in front of a large audience.

The first illustration Condé Nast needed was one of my WSJ - type hedcut portraits, for the author of the piece:

The article was about traveling in France, and the gustatory explorations that go along with it. Our article featured a sexy touring bike…Somehow, a feral pigeon became one of the story’s features…
And finally, what the piece focused on, the preparation of the cream sauce called “Aligot”:
It was a simple project, and ran with a few photos in the print version, but was a fun and easy job for me. I’m looking forward to doing more of this in future.Bon Appetite!
