Humorous Illustration, Part 2
Second of the Series of my Humorous Illustrations… Let’s get things rolling with some caricatures:
Remember the Crash of 2008? A magazine named Radar commissioned me to create some Wall Street Journal-type portraits of the men that were in charge of the economy at the time. Above, Ben Bernancke. (I was actually not aware whether he was a smoker!)
Dick Fuld, CEO of Lehman Brothers, above, looks like he’s feeling the heat…
Tim Geithner pictured above, 75th United States secretary of the treasury under President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2013. There really was a sense of panic in the air about the possibility of an economic meltdown at the time. I think these portraits illustrate it effectively.
Next, a couple images I created for a Hotel company -I don’t recall which one. The concept: the undesirable kind of people that you would never encounter at our Hotel…
This one is titled “Party Animals”. Its companion-piece is called “Concierge”…
Lastly, I’ll leave you with a self-portrait…
Myself, in younger days. I took the liberty of borrowing a drawing by a bygone illustrator to create this festive image.
Thanks for viewing. Until next time…. ; )
